The Host: Mokopi Molebatsi brings with her 16 years of radio experience including working for one of the biggest radio stations in the country, Motsweding FM. In spite of her wealth of broadcast knowhow, she still aspires to constantly inspire through fresh listener and stakeholder interaction with the aim of learning and sharing content. Her strong belief that reading is the key to a better tomorrow is the cornerstone of her passion for broadcasting, living by “People rely on radio for information and new thoughts, so, if I can inspire one person to either go for their dreams or try to better each day, then I am happy.’’ MKP, as she’s known by some, caters for women, men and young people alike who love both music and reading.
Bothakga is a Setswana word which means excellence.
This is a magazine programme aimed at informing, educating and entertaining listeners through music and conversation. Bothakga’s listeners are aspirant black middle-class people with a curious mind and an interest in self – development and good ‘’Classic’’ music.
MKP’s mission for Bothakga is to give as much relevant information as possible to the people of the North West, with the idea that the Black community can do so much more for themselves if they knew where to look or hear. The vision is to create a network of thought leaders in bettering ourselves and our surroundings.

11h20 – 10h35: Book review feature (Last Tuesday of every month) Looking at a relevant book, It doesn’t have to be the latest release e.g Winnie’s 491 DAYS book would have been relevant for her month of passing. Publishers or writers are interviewed.
